The program’s own protocols
Protocols appear in the order and wording the program chose, with the revision on every page, so the crew knows which version they are reading. No paging through a PDF with gloves on.
Hiero Clinical
Your program’s patient-care guidelines, on the device, for the crew.
For flight nurses, critical-care paramedics, and the medical director who owns the protocol. Hiero opens the program’s written guideline at the moment it is needed: on the ramp, in the back of the aircraft, or in the office where the protocol is written.
Built from your program
A program loads its own patient-care guidelines. Hiero arranges them for a phone, keeps every line tied to the page it came from, and opens them in a moment, with or without a signal.
Protocols appear in the order and wording the program chose, with the revision on every page, so the crew knows which version they are reading. No paging through a PDF with gloves on.
Enter weight and age once. Hiero works out the doses the protocol already states, shows the line they came from, and respects the protocol’s maximums. It never supplies a dose the protocol does not contain.
Ventilator settings, device checklists and the program’s reference cards sit next to the protocols that call for them, and they are stored on the phone for the back of an aircraft.
Weight- and age-aware
Every dose Hiero shows starts as a sentence in your protocol. Hiero does the arithmetic, applies the protocol’s ceiling, and keeps the source in view so the crew can check it at a glance.
When a patient falls under the program’s pediatric rule, the whole app changes color, so nobody reads an adult page by mistake. Try the Pediatric switch.
Sample text for illustration only. Hiero calculates only from doses written in your program’s protocol.
Smart features
Each feature reads, finds or organizes the program’s material. None of them writes clinical guidance.
Type “RSI 80 kg” or “T1 high pressure alarm.” Hiero searches the program’s protocols, formulary and device guides on the phone first, and opens the exact line.
Point the camera at a ventilator, a lab panel, a pump or a drug label. Text is read on the device, the values land in the right fields, and the crew confirms them before anything is used.
A program uploads its protocol PDFs, formulary and contacts. Hiero prepares a draft that keeps every line tied to its source page. Nothing becomes active clinical guidance until the program reviews it and activates it.
Hiero carries a nationwide hospital list on the phone, with trauma, stroke, burn, cardiac and pediatric designations where states publish them, and checks those lists for changes.
Flight Ops Pro
Flight category at nearby stations, active SIGMETs, G-AIRMETs and center weather advisories, receiving hospitals with their designations, and nearby traffic. Switch the layers to see what each one adds.
Situational awareness only. Hiero does not make a go or no-go decision, choose a launch or a landing, or replace the pilot’s and the program’s weather minimums.
Oxygen planner
Pick the cylinder, set the pressure and the flow, and see how long the gas lasts against the whole mission: bedside, loading, the leg itself, unloading and handoff. The planner handles liquid oxygen and ventilator or BiPAP consumption too.
Set up each aircraft once. The planner remembers its cylinders or LOX system.
Planning arithmetic: (pressure − 200 psi change point) × cylinder factor ÷ flow. Factors: D 0.16, E 0.28, M 1.56, H/K 3.14 L/psi. Check the cylinder’s label and your program’s oxygen policy and reserve.
Device manuals
Programs bring in the manuals and quick guides for the devices they fly with. Hiero reads them on the phone, so the crew can search an alarm or a setup step and open the right page, offline.
Device names belong to their manufacturers. Hiero shows the guides a program provides; it does not write or alter them.
On the home screen
Crews rearrange the home screen and pin favorites, so the tools they open most are one tap away.
What Hiero is not
Hiero does not replace the medical director’s protocol. It shows that protocol, as written, and points back to the page it came from.
Hiero does not choose a destination, a launch, a landing or a dose. Those decisions stay with the crew, the pilot and medical direction.
Hiero is not a medical device, and nothing on this page is a claim of HIPAA compliance.
